After the Market. Ledru-Rollin, Paris. My new phone has supposedly some pretty good photographic features, so I’m experimenting with it. On this pic, we can see the subway is somewhat slanting: this is the rolling shutter. Mobile phone don’t have mechanical shutter, it is replaced by a electrical shutter: each sensor lines are read one by one, so it takes a while for the device to shoot the whole pic, thus making fast moving objects appear crooked.
