Waves in stone #2. Antelope Canyon, Arizona. Again, I pushed the white balance to get those surreal tints. Lower Antelope is supposed to be less crowded than the upper one. I find it hard to believe, as we were already quite a few down there. One of the funniest parts of those visits is that the guide gives lots of photographic tips for all kind of cameras. We even saw a couple who actually handed over their camera to the guide so he could shoot for them! It’s true the place is really photogenic (there are “photographer’s tour” available for an extra 30 bucks…). On one hand, it’s a great way to make cheap advertisement: make the tourists bring great pictures back home, they’ll send their friends over. On the other hand though, some of them are not really bringing back their own pictures.
