The high road. The leaping tiger gorge hosts the mighty Yang-Tsé. At this point, it’s a narrow river, that runs furiously in the middle of the mountains. The high road brought me halfway in the gorge in about 6 hours, non-stop. Needless to say I was done by the end of the day! The path is narrow, and sometimes really steep. The Jade Dragon snow mountain stood right on the other side of the valley
