An everyday life's Odyssey

Before the heavenly gate. After I left Xingping, I flew to Kunming, Yunnan. As the capital of this province, this is a big city of around 10 million inhabitants, a beautiful center surrounded by miles of suburbs. I found the Golden Temple park there: a very well preserved Taoist temple. It was a bit of a let down, as most of the old buildings are invaded by shops and snacks. After a few hours walking there, succeeding hysterical music and Zen moments, I found this old door, away from the crowd. A monk was walking down too, and when he saw my camera, offered to pose for me with a smile (kinda reminds me this picture I took a while ago).
