East Bangkok. From the top of Baiyoke Tower 2, order Bangkok. There it is, the city of Angels. Its full name, Krung Thep mahanakhon amon rattanakosin mahintara ayuthaya mahadilok phop noppharat ratchathani burirom udomratchaniwet mahasathan amon piman awatan sathit sakkathattiya witsanukam prasit (which simply means The city of angels, the great city, the residence of the Emerald Buddha, the impregnable city (unlike Ayutthaya) of God Indra, the grand capital of the world endowed with nine precious gems, the happy city, abounding in an enormous Royal Palace that resembles the heavenly abode where reigns the reincarnated god, a city given by Indra and built by Vishnukarn (probably not the best translation job ever)), is the longest city town in the world (we can see why). Erected after the fall of Sukhothai, then Ayutthaya, it has been the capital for more than 2 centuries now. Huge and tiring city, after a full day of tourism, we ended up on top of the city to see the sun set.
