Walking though the jungle. On the way to Khun Korn waterfall, near Chiang Rai. A friend told us that beyond the White temple in Chiang Rai, we had to drive some more to find a majestic waterfall. And so we drove for a while. We met some Thais to whom we mimed we needed to fill our scooter’s tank (and they kindly showed us the way). After a dozen kilometers through the countryside, we left the scooter at the entrance of the forest. We walked for 45 minutes on a small path, during which moskitos feasted of us. One thai told us once that if you don’t properly care, you can be moved from your bed to the forest during the night :p We finally reached the tall waterfall, and stayed there for a while, until we were the only ones on site. On our way back, we met a group of Buddhist monks, probably about to do some kind of ceremony. This one was late after the others. When he reached us, he smiled, certainly amused by our eyes in awe.
