Pointe Saint-Mathieu. On the very far west of France. Going further west brings you to Ouessant, and then, Canada. The day before, we went to see the lighthouse of l’île vierge. Disappointed by the rather unimpressive weather, I convinced my dad to drive all the way to Plougonvelin. After a pretty long ride, we finally reached the place. The tumbledown Abbaye, the lighthouse and the Signal station are altogether impressive. I got to offer my dad to go on top of the Lighthouse 🙂 Taking pictures on that day was pretty hard, as water droplets would end up on my camera lens, but I finally managed to get a couple of presentable shots. I’d have stayed longer, but this was Xmas eve, and we had to go back home…

  1. Belle lumière ; j'ai envie de suivre les nuages. C'est vrai que c'était beaucoup mieux qu'à Plouguerneau.
