Hong-Kong, Kowloon, near Jordan. Hong-Kong! I&#8217;ve had a very strong appeal for this city for a loooong time. <a hef=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ghost_in_the_Shell\">Ghost in the Shell<\/a> was one major aesthetic shock for me, and even though the movie is obviously a work of fiction, I always thought it depicted somehow accurately the city: a blend of new and old, layers of intricate buildings forming a chaotic maze of people and neon lights. And I was not disappointed. It&#8217;s a futuristic city, with roaring, packed  districts living under massive skyscrapers. It&#8217;s a world city, that seems almost infinite while walking it, and yet, very diverse. And finally, that&#8217;s the real Vertical City.
