Between Trogir and Split lies a collection of &#8220;Ka\u0161tels&#8221;, houses and small forts built by the notables from both cities on the coast. Villages popped up around them with time. We spent a small afternoon driving through them. When we reached the last one, Su?urac, we were on the outskirts of Split, right across the bay.
