An everyday life's Odyssey

The Kunming card players (only slightly different from Cézanne’s version :p). In the garden of the Confucian Temple Lingxing Gate. I walked all day long after I went to the golden temple. I paid a visit to the flower and bird market which I found way too overcrowded. I walked along an avenue planted with plane trees the Chinese call “French trees”, as they were brought by settlers from Indochina after the Sino-French war. Starving, and pretty exhausted by a short night and lots of walking, I started to look for a restaurant. It took me a loooong while to find one. Especially because I got distracted by the Chinese players. Chinese play cards, Mah Jong, some sort of domino, and quite a lot of different games anywhere, anytime. I stayed there for a while, watching both the players and their public, until my stomach could not stand empty a minute more.
