The market: the lemon seller. On my first day in Istanbul, we visited a market. It was rainy. The market was located in several streets. we walked all the way through, and then went back, starting to buy stuff for lunch. One funny thing is that the sellers were not afraid of my camera. On the contrary, they asked me several times to shoot them! So I did! I was so happy to finally shoot people! I didn’t forget to show them the pictures I took from them. Quite a contrast with Paris where people almost call the cops if they see you shooting them. The lemon seller didn’t ask me though, I asked him. And even though we couldn’t speak to each other, he understood me and he accepted.
